Reserved ("the App") is a luxury anonymous messaging platform designed for exclusive, ephemeral communication. We are committed to protecting your privacy through end-to-end encryption and minimal data collection.
2.1 Information You Provide
Screen Name: You choose a display name for use within the App. This name is not verified and is not linked to your real identity.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
Anonymous Authentication Token: Firebase generates an anonymous authentication identifier to enable App functionality. This token is not linked to any personal information and cannot be used to identify you.
We explicitly do NOT collect, store, or have access to:
• Email addresses or phone numbers
• Real names or personal identifiers
• Location data or IP addresses
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Payment information (handled by Apple App Store)
• Message content (messages are end-to-end encrypted)
All messages are encrypted on your device before transmission using AES-256-GCM encryption. Messages are decrypted only on recipient devices using room-specific encryption keys. We cannot read, access, or decrypt your messages. Firebase Realtime Database stores only encrypted ciphertext that is unreadable without the room encryption key.
5.1 Message Ephemeral Nature
All messages automatically expire and are deleted after 24 hours. Neither you nor we can recover messages after deletion.
5.2 Third-Party Services
We use Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) for authentication and encrypted message storage. Firebase's data processing is governed by Google's privacy policies and security standards. Data is stored in encrypted form and automatically deleted per our 24-hour retention policy.
The minimal information we collect is used solely to:
• Enable anonymous authentication
• Facilitate encrypted message delivery
• Maintain basic App functionality
We do not sell, rent, or share any user information with third parties. We do not engage in advertising or analytics tracking. The only third party with access to encrypted data is Firebase (Google), which operates under strict security and privacy standards and cannot decrypt message content.
We implement industry-standard security measures including end-to-end encryption, secure transmission protocols (HTTPS), Firebase Security Rules to prevent unauthorized access, and automatic data deletion. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. Users are responsible for protecting their room codes and device security.
The App is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has used the App, please contact us immediately.
The App is available globally. Encrypted data may be stored on Firebase servers in various jurisdictions. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of encrypted information to these locations.
Due to our anonymous, ephemeral architecture, traditional data rights (access, correction, deletion) are not applicable. You have the right to:
• Delete the App at any time (removes all local data)
• Stop using specific room codes (prevents access to those conversations)
• Contact us with privacy concerns or questions
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted within the App and on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
